Earlier in November I shared about a cool non-profit called Give A Mile founded by my good friend Kevin that we teamed up with to help their mission of delivering 52 flights over the holidays!

Our Impact Circle family personally donated over 120,000 travel points, and got to help families to see their loved ones one last time!!!

Giving is selfish in the sense that you get to feel so great for the support you give to others. And its stories like this that remind us why we do what we do and the reward that comes for it.

Flight Story #1202: A Sister’s Final Goodbye: Tonya’s Journey to See DeeAnn

“After 16 long years apart, Tonya Esparza is finally able to see her sister DeeAnn, but under heartbreaking circumstances. DeeAnn, a mother of four young children, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Though she never smoked, this illness has taken hold quickly, and her doctors have shared the devastating news that she has very little time left.

This flight made possible by the generosity of Give A Mile donors from The Impact Circle, has given Tonya the chance to be by DeeAnn’s side, to share precious moments, and to help support her mother during one of the most difficult times they’ve ever faced as a family.

For Tonya, this flight means a final opportunity to be with her sister and offer support to their mother, who is also struggling under the weight of this news.

Thanks to your support, she can say goodbye and give her sister the love and comfort she’s waited so long to share in person. This flight is a gift of family, compassion, and love that will remain in her heart forever”
